I guess the subject says it all. Those postings to the prior incarnation
of AvHistory were invaluable. With Ron's passing they become even more.
valuable. I sure hope there is a move afoot to move them over to here,
Jim
Same question from me. Were is all that valuable informatioin gone ?
I always tried to download the whole old forum for offline use, but it id not work. I was complacent and did not try harder to find out how to adjust explorer for that sort of downloading. Now the worst case has happened.
Carl
I still have it and the plan is to get the old board up and running read only so everyone can access them.
What happened to Ron?
Ron's obit has been posted on all the major flightsim groups.

Thank you for posting that. I've been so focused on our own FM's I had been following other boards. I thought it weird he had not posted in a while.
To Ron Thanks Ron
Hello Jim,
the last time Gregory moved the forum the same thing happened. The other alternative is to ask again as I probably know these answers. I used to email Ron about 5 times a week over the last few years.
You should read Ron's tutorial on Herve's site and most of the other stuff before asking too many questions.

jimc: Thanks Ian, I'll visit Herve's site. Jim
I indeed found a lot of useful mateial at Herve's site.
Gustavo put me on to the FAA TCDS site which contained
exactly what I was looking for.
Many thanks,
Hello Jim
the FAA TCDS is also available as a link from Herve's site the last time I checked.

Please inform if CFS1,CFS2,CFS3 and FS9 to be compatibles with Window Vista.
Thank jou very match
Hello Bonalumi,
yes I would have thought so as Vista is just a version of Win98 SP2 really. If it was different it would break so many other programs. The important differences are more between different CFS and MSFS versions.
Have you checked on the AvSim FS2004 and CFS forums as a double check as I have not tried Vista.

Gregory,
any news about that ? I´d really appreciate to get this data. What is the storage size of the whole set of threads ? Will it fit on a DVD ?
Kind regardsCarl
Still in the plans. There are the messages from the last system and also from the previous message board
Hello Gregory,
I hope you mean it this time. Can I edit out my mistakes from last year's postings?
